Selling Your Outfit

Want to give your outfit a second life? Selling it is a great way to pass it on!

Suggested sale pricing (based on original retail price):

  • If your outfit originally cost £100 → sell it for around £30 to £60
  • If it cost £200 → aim for £60 to £120
  • If it cost £400 → try £120 to £240
  • If it cost £500 or more → list it at £150 to £300+

The lower the price, the more likely someone is going to buy your preloved outfit! We recommend a low price, but you have control. Your price should also reflect the condition of the outfit, brand new or barely worn pieces can go for more! You can always lower the price later if you're not getting much interest.

You’re responsible for including the postage costs. We recommend Royal Mail for reliability and ease. We suggest using tracked delivery.

What commission do we take? We take 10% commission from the final sale price. You keep 90%.

👗 Renting Your Outfit

How to Price Your Outfit for Rental (Rentals are coming soon!)

On our platform, you set a daily rental price. Renters choose how many days they need the outfit, and the total is calculated automatically at checkout.

Most people rent outfits for 4 to 8 days for weddings and events, so your daily price should reflect what you want to earn over that timeframe. The lower the price, the more likely someone is to rent your outfit, especially if they’re only wearing it for one event!

💡 What Should Your Price Include?

  • Your daily rental price
  • Postage to the renter (tracked delivery, heavy bridal outfits are usually £7.10 via Royal Mail; lighter outfits cost less)
  • A cleaning fee, if you’ll be handling cleaning after return (this varies by item and dry cleaner — set what feels fair)
  • Optional refundable damage deposit (you can choose to include a security deposit to cover damage — this will be held securely during the rental)

We recommend keeping your rental price competitive, but you’re always in control.
